Terms of Service

Effective date: August 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the use of Kurashi Dogu - Easy Card Management (the “App”), provided by pftFactory (the “Developer”).

By using the App, the user acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the App

The App is designed to help users organize information used in daily life, including credit card budgets and payment amounts, people and family timelines, resume timelines, and Japanese era and Gregorian calendar conversions.

The App is not provided by a financial institution, credit card issuer, government agency, or other public authority.

2. Application of These Terms

  1. These Terms apply between the Developer and the user in connection with use of the App.
  2. Notices, guides, and other conditions displayed in the App or on the Developer’s website form part of these Terms.
  3. If these Terms conflict with specific conditions applicable to an individual feature, those specific conditions take precedence.
  4. If any provision is not permitted under applicable law, that law takes precedence to the relevant extent.

3. Apple Terms

  1. In addition to these Terms, acquisition and use of the App and its in-app purchases through the App Store are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, and the App Store Usage Rules.
  2. These Terms are between the Developer and the user. Apple is not a party to these Terms.
  3. Purchases, payments, refunds, and other services provided through the App Store are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and procedures.

4. Eligibility

  1. The user uses the App at the user’s own responsibility.
  2. A minor must obtain the consent of a parent or other legal representative where required before using the App or making an in-app purchase.
  3. These Terms also apply when the App is used for business, work, or purposes other than personal household management.

5. License

Subject to these Terms and Apple’s Usage Rules, the Developer grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the App on Apple-branded devices that the user owns or controls.

6. User-Entered Information and On-Device Data

  1. The user is responsible for the content, accuracy, and management of information entered in the App.
  2. Information entered in the App is generally stored on the user’s device.
  3. Stored information may become unavailable due to device replacement, failure, loss, deletion of the App, operating system updates, or other circumstances.
  4. The user should use the App’s backup feature when appropriate and is responsible for safeguarding exported data.
  5. If a backup password is lost, the Developer cannot restore the backup.
  6. Do not enter credit card numbers, security codes, bank account numbers, personal identification numbers, or other highly sensitive payment credentials in the App.

7. Card Management Features

  1. The card management features help users organize, calculate, and display budgets and payment amounts entered by the user.
  2. The App does not automatically obtain transaction histories, billing amounts, account balances, or other information from credit card issuers or financial institutions.
  3. “Confirmed” and “Unconfirmed” are organizational statuses set by the user. They do not constitute or guarantee an official billing determination by a card issuer, transaction authorization, or withdrawal from a bank account.
  4. Budgets, payment amounts, remaining amounts, cumulative totals, charts, and other values displayed by the App are reference information based on user-entered data and the App’s calculation settings.
  5. Users should confirm official billing amounts, payment dates, transaction histories, and account balances with the relevant credit card issuer or financial institution.
  6. The App does not provide household-finance, investment, tax, accounting, lending, or other financial advice.

8. Notifications

  1. The App may use local notifications based on the user’s settings.
  2. Notifications may not appear at the scheduled time because of device conditions, operating system settings, power-saving features, notification permissions, or other circumstances.
  3. The user should not rely solely on App notifications to manage payment deadlines or other important matters.
  4. Notification content may appear on the Lock Screen. Users should change notification-preview settings where appropriate.

9. People, Family Timelines, and Resume Timeline Features

  1. Users may enter only information that they are authorized to use in people records, family timelines, and resume timelines.
  2. When entering another person’s personal information, the user must give appropriate consideration to that person’s privacy.
  3. Resume timelines and other documents created or exported by the App are intended only to assist with preparation. The App does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, suitability, or any employment or other outcome.
  4. The user must review all content before submitting or sharing a document.

10. Calendar Conversion and Other Information

  1. Japanese era and Gregorian calendar dates, ages, zodiac information, and other information displayed by the App are provided to assist with everyday reference.
  2. The Developer endeavors to provide accurate information but does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or currency for every purpose.
  3. For legal matters, administrative procedures, contracts, or other important purposes, the user should independently verify the information with an appropriate official source.

11. Pro and In-App Purchases

  1. The App includes free features and Pro features made available through an in-app purchase.
  2. Pro is a non-consumable, one-time purchase offered through the App Store. It is not a recurring subscription.
  3. The price, taxes, and other purchase conditions displayed by the App Store or on the App’s purchase screen at the time of purchase apply.
  4. Purchases and purchase-status management are processed through Apple’s systems. The Developer does not obtain credit card numbers or other payment credentials.
  5. Within the conditions provided by Apple, a previous Pro purchase may be restored using Restore Purchases or another recovery method made available by Apple.
  6. Refund eligibility and procedures are governed by Apple’s terms, applicable laws in the country or region of purchase, and Apple’s other applicable conditions.
  7. Purchases or restoration may be temporarily unavailable because of network conditions, Apple Account status, App Store outages, or other circumstances.
  8. The Developer may change Pro features or how they are provided when required for legal or technical reasons, while giving reasonable consideration to users who have already purchased Pro.

12. Sharing, PDF Export, and Backup

  1. When the user uses sharing, PDF export, copying, or backup features, information may be transferred to an app, service, storage location, or clipboard selected by the user.
  2. The user is responsible for managing information after it has been shared or exported.
  3. Information stored with or transmitted to a third-party service is subject to that third party’s terms and privacy policy.
  4. The Developer is not responsible for how a third-party service selected by the user handles information, except where the Developer is liable under applicable law.

13. Prohibited Conduct

The user must not:

  1. Violate applicable law, public order, accepted standards of conduct, or these Terms
  2. Infringe the Developer’s or another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights
  3. Unlawfully obtain, enter, use, or disclose another person’s personal information
  4. Use the App for an unlawful purpose or in connection with criminal activity
  5. Unlawfully copy, reproduce, sell, lend, redistribute, or sublicense all or part of the App
  6. Analyze, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law
  7. Interfere with the normal operation of the App or related systems
  8. Engage in other conduct that the Developer reasonably determines to be inappropriate

14. Intellectual Property

Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the App and its text, images, icons, designs, software, and other content belong to the Developer or their respective lawful owners.

The license granted under these Terms does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the user.

15. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation

  1. The Developer may change the App for reasonable purposes, including quality improvement, feature enhancement, operating system compatibility, security, and legal compliance.
  2. The Developer may temporarily suspend all or part of the App due to maintenance, system failures, disasters, legal requirements, changes to third-party services, or other unavoidable circumstances.
  3. The Developer may discontinue the App for a reasonable reason. Where reasonably possible, advance notice will be provided in the App or on the Developer’s website.
  4. If permanent discontinuation of paid features or another change materially affects users, the Developer will respond in accordance with applicable law and Apple’s applicable terms.

16. Scope of Warranties

  1. The Developer does not warrant that the App will meet every user’s particular purpose, achieve an expected result, operate without interruption, work on every device or operating system, or be entirely free from defects.
  2. The Developer will make reasonable efforts to maintain the quality and security of the App.
  3. Nothing in this section limits rights granted to the user under applicable law.

17. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Developer is not liable for loss arising from circumstances for which the Developer is not responsible.
  2. Where the Developer is liable for damages in connection with the App, liability is limited to ordinary and direct loss actually incurred, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  3. The preceding limitation does not apply to loss caused by the Developer’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  4. If a limitation in this section is invalid under consumer protection law or other applicable law, that law applies to the relevant extent.

18. Privacy

The handling of user information is governed by the separate Privacy Policy for Kurashi Dogu - Easy Card Management.

Users should review the Privacy Policy before using the App.

19. Changes to These Terms

  1. The Developer may amend these Terms when reasonably necessary due to changes in applicable law, changes to the App, or other circumstances.
  2. The Developer will announce the changes and their effective date in the App or on the webpage where these Terms are published.
  3. For changes that materially affect user rights or obligations, the Developer will provide a reasonable notice period and obtain consent where required by law.
  4. Revised Terms apply from the announced effective date.

20. Ending Use

The user may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from the device.

Backup files, PDFs, and other information stored outside the App are not automatically deleted when the App is removed.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law or by a court, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute relating to the App or these Terms will be submitted at first instance to a court in Japan having jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure of Japan and other applicable law.
